Our Vision 2030 Partnerships

Saudi Sports for All Federation partnership 

We have been committed to the prosperity of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for over 60 years. In contribution to the nation’s goal of increasing participation in weekly sports by 40% by 2030, the Saudi Sports for All Federation (SFA) and PepsiCo inked a two-year parternship in 2020 to make sports more accessible, set the pace for adoption for healthier habits, and deliver long-term benefits for future Saudi generations.

Both partners promote key events including family activity days, neighbourhood league football, and virtual fitness activities. The partnership enlists PepsiCo’s support as the Beverage & Nutrition Partner at SFA selected events, anchored around brands such as Aquafina and Quaker Oats. Through Gatorade, we are enabling grassroots players and coaches to build their sports skills to become future athletes and trainers.

PepsiCo continues to support the Saudi government’s goal to improve public health through increasing participation in informal and organized sports. Our track record in driving social impact in the Kingdom also extends to other causes such as women empowerment, youth development and sustainable farming, among others.

Sports For All & Gatorade Sports Science Institute

Empowering athletes and equipping them with tools for success. As part of our commitment to increasing physical activity levels across the Kingdom, we hosted a series of Sports & Nutrition Training workshops in Riyadh with experts from the Gatorade Sports Science Institute (GSSI) to help more people in the Kingdom get active while also having the right knowledge. Participants learned how to track and optimize performance while receiving specialized instruction in sports nutrition. This initiative demonstrates a key milestone in creating a healthy and vibrant society.

National Center for Industrial Development partnership

PepsiCo signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the National Center for Industrial Development (NCID) to empower the Kingdom’s food sector workforce by developing skills and opportunities through a transfer and localization of knowledge. The partnership helps nurture a highly skilled workforce contributing towards an effective and flexible food system, develops exceptional talent, and aims to create a national workforce that reflects the diversity of local communities, in line with the goals of Vision 2030 and the NCID and PepsiCo business strategies.

The MoU followed PepsiCo’s “Proudly Saudi” campaign, one of the largest campaigns implemented by the company in the region, aimed at emphasizing its commitment to the market.

Launch of Future is Saudi initiative which is a training program for more than 2,000 Saudi’s in the Industrial sector, enhancing their skills while also supporting them to secure jobs.
